When you visit a Pregnancy Resource Center, you will meet with a consultant to confirm that you are pregnant with a medical grade pregnancy test. A woman might miss her period for many reasons. Someone to Guide You
Your trained consultant will guide you through every step of the process. Your appointment will last about 45 minutes and during that time she will talk with you about a number of area of your life to help better understand how she might assist you. You may be asked questions about:
- Your current relationship
- Where you are living and working
- Your network of support and if you attend church
- Your health history
- Your pregnancy symptoms an sexual history
If you’re pregnant, and it’s unexpected, you might feel completely overwhelmed. You have some of the biggest decisions of your life ahead of you, and right now, you might be making them on your own. Some women know right away they want to keep their baby, and some women already have an abortion plan all figured out. The important thing to remember is that this is your choice to make and it doesn’t have to be rushed. You can, and should, take enough time to educate yourself about all your options and your consultant will help. She will talk with you about all of your options and gauge your opinion of each.
